One of spacesuits of US astronauts at the International Space Station (ISS) malfunctioned ahead of Friday's spacewalk, so Nick Hague will wear a replacement suit, a source in the Russian space industry told Sputnik on Tuesday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 26th March, 2019) One of spacesuits of US astronauts at the International Space Station (ISS) malfunctioned ahead of Friday's spacewalk, so Nick Hague will wear a replacement suit, a source in the Russian space industry told Sputnik on Tuesday.

"According to the United States, during a spacewalk on March 22, an issue with a pressure sensor was detected in Nick Hague's spacesuit. Because of this, NASA decided that Hague would use another spacesuit during the spacewalk on March 29," the source said.

Hague and Christina Koch will continue replacing batteries at the US segment of the ISS. Initially, NASA planned to have an all-female team do a spacewalk on March 29, but there was not a second spacesuit of the right size. Hague will do the spacewalk instead of Anne McClain.
