Roscosmos Chief Tightens Foreign Trip Regulations For Space Industry Personnel - Source

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 06th June, 2019) Dmitry Rogozin, the general director of Russian State Corporation Roscosmos, had tightened regulations concerning foreign trips for the management of the corporation and space industry companies after one of the top managers had fled abroad, a space industry source told Sputnik on Thursday.

"An industry decree on stricter requirements on foreign trips for employees of the state corporation and the space industry enterprises has been issued. This primarily concerns the managerial personnel," the source said.

The press service of Roscosmos has declined to comment on the matter.

In mid-May, the Russian Kommersant newspaper reported that Yury Yaskin, a former director general of the Russian Research Institute for Space Engineering, had sent in a resignation letter after he had gone abroad under a pretext of a business trip.
