Roscosmos Says Determined Design Of Russian New Super Heavy Rocket

The scientific and technical council of Russia's State Space Corporation Roscosmos has determined the design of a new super-heavy class rocket, the corporation said Wednesday in a statement.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th December, 2018) The scientific and technical council of Russia's State Space Corporation Roscosmos has determined the design of a new super-heavy class rocket, the corporation said Wednesday in a statement.

"Following the meeting, the presidency of the scientific and technical council chose the priority project of the super-heavy class space rocket," the statement said.

According to the statement, the project to create the super-heavy class rocket will unite the efforts of three leading design bureaus of Roscosmos and result in the entire industry being technically modernized.

The final feasibility study of the project will be presented to the Russian government in early 2019.
