Russia's Roskomnadzor Says Built Constructive Dialogue With Google On Content Filtering

The Russian telecommunications watchdog Roskomnadzor has established constructive dialogue with Google on the issue of limiting banned content in search results, the spokesman for the watchdog, Vadim Ampelonsky, told Sputnik Thursday.

"We have established constructive dialogue with Google. Currently we are satisfied with this dialogue," the spokesman said, commenting no further on whether the search engine had started to ban websites listed as illegal in the national registry.

Google gave no comments on the matter.
