Saudi Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Space Agency, said on Thursday that he planned to visit Russian cosmodromes of Baikonur and Vostochny during his future trips

KOROLYOV (Moscow Region) (UrduPoint news / Sputnik - 18th April, 2019) Saudi Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the chairman of the board of Directors of Saudi Space Agency, said on Thursday that he planned to visit Russian cosmodromes of Baikonur and Vostochny during his future trips.

"I think that our ambition for cooperation in space sector will act as an impetus to visit Russia many times more ... During future trips, we plan to visit Baikonur and the Vostochny cosmodrome," the prince told reporters.

Earlier in the day, the Saudi prince visited the RKA Mission Control Center of Russian space corporation Roscosmos and met with the latter's chief, Dmitry Rogozin.

Moreover, Moscow and Riyadh plan to make up a program on cooperation in space, Rogozin said in February.
