City of lights is alive and running! DG ISPR plays cricket with youth in Karachi

The DG ISPR snapped selfies with the youngsters as well.

Karachi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd December, 2018) A video of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) DG Major General Asif Ghafoor playing cricket on a Karachi street has gone viral on social media.

In the video, the ISPR DG is seen hitting the ball with his bat while youth were playing cricket on team.

The credit for this goes to Pak Army and law enforcement agencies for their efforts to restore peace in Karachi.

The DG ISPR snapped selfies with the youngsters as well.

Even star cricketer Shahid Afridi couldn’t restrain to comment on the video and said, “City of Lights back in colours.

Karachi boys enjoying late night road cricket with @OfficalDGISPR Missed the opportunity being at Turkey. Thank you our brave security forces.”

Responding to this, the ISPR DG said, “Thank you Lala. Yes missed you. If you were there no one would have given me the bat! Great to see the vibrant youth of Karachi. Thanks to sacrifices of Sindh Rangers, Police, LEAs and the resilient Pakistanis.”

The security forces sure deserve a plaudit for bringing back life to this industrial hub of the country.
