Following Criticism, Umer Hussain Reveals The Psyche Of ‘beggars’ He Helped

Says the beggar refused to take the job he offered

Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th November, 2018) After restaurant owner Umer Hussain was being criticized for his ill-will to help the homeless children for his personal fame, he clarified that he did all he could but the beggar didn’t want he offered.

Hussain said that the beggar father of the homeless children is ruining the lives of these kids.

“I took him to SOS, I took them to schools, I tried everything – Gave him job, the clothes he's wearing are mine. He makes 4-5k everyday begging! Will he do the job?” Umer Hussain wrote in comments of a Facebook post.

“I called child protection bureau. He escaped with kids, hiding them. Child protection was active on Friday, the whole of slums is a mafia, with the kids. Check with all the local schools,” he further said.

Umer wrote that the family stayed at his house and his office.

“We arranged a bionic arm in Karachi.... Wanted to send him with all expense paid and taken care of .

... Everything free. I have videos of each and everything .... People who follow me on Instagram have seen it all.... How much we have tried! Child protection bureau will take the kids ! Cause they will not stop using kids for the gain,” he said.

“He didn't even agree to bionic arm because he knows after that he won't be able to beg! We are trying to make him self-reliant but he can’t leave this bad profession.”

After the picture of some homeless children had gone viral on social media, Umer Hussain came out to support them, offering them food and shelter.

Later, Umer Hussain was criticized that he had only helped them for the sake of pictures and his own publicity and had no intent to actually serve them.

However, the restaurant owner has now revealed that it is the beggar himself who does not want to improve the life of his children.
