German Ambassador Martin Kobler Offers Biryani Lunch To Pindi Ambassador Jeremy McLellan And It's Winning Over The Pakistanis

McLellan had asked to adopt German ambassador as his Uncle over Kobler's Biryani post

Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd July, 2018) German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler exchanged interesting tweets with American comedian Jeremy McLellan calling him an ambassador the Pindi boys and inviting him for Biryani lunch.

The two have already won over the hearts of Pakistani people with their posts expressing admiration for this country and its food.

In his recent tweet, Martin Kobler shared about his experience of having ‘Aloo Biryani’ and Karachi student biryani. The German ambassador was surely intrigued by the desi flavours, calling it an aromatic, flavoursome rice.

“Delicious!! Again followed your advice to try aloo biryani at famous student biryani in #karachi! What an aromatic, flavoursome rice! Their motto well deserved "WOW-WHAT A TASTE!” Kobler wrote in his tweet.

Biryani-loving American comedian Jeremy McLellan responded to the tweet saying, “Can I adopt the German ambassador as my uncle?”

“Theory: Ambassador Kobler is future me from the alternate German timeline,” McLellan wrote in another tweet.

Trolling international politics into the biryani affair, McLellan added, “The year in 2023. Kobler and McLellan are the German and US ambassadors to Pakistan. One day a fight break out on the issue of aloo in biryani. Trump slaps Germany with a potato tariff. World War III begins.”

However, McLellan’s request to adopt Kobler as his uncle came to the attention of the German ambassador himself.

“haha @JeremyMcLellan i’ve heard that you’re the ambassador to the pindi boyz. so what about an ambassadors biryani lunch someday?” he said while offering him a Biryani lunch.
