Cold, Dry Weather Forecast For KP 11 Dec 2018

The Met Office Tuesday forecast mainly cold and partly cloudy weather for most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for next 24 to 48 hours.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Dec, 2018 ) :The Met Office Tuesday forecast mainly cold and partly cloudy weather for most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for next 24 to 48 hours.

However rain and snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places in Chitral, Upper and Lower Dir, Shangla,Swat, Bajaur,Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram, Kohistan, Torghar and Kurram districts during the period. While foggy conditions are likely to prevail over the plain areas in the morning time.

The weather remained cold during the last 24 hours and widespread rain occurred at Peshawar, Mardan, D I Khan, Kohat, Hazara, Bannu and Malakand divisions.

The mercury level dropped to -08C in Kalam.

The highest amount of snow fall recorded in inches at Kalam was 06 and Malamjaba 03.

The highest amount of rainfall recorded in mm during the last 24 hours was: Parachinar 11, Dir 8, Malamjaba 6, Kohat 3, Pattan 13, Kalam 11, Kakul 8, Timergara 10, Saidu Sharif 5, Balakot 18 and Chitral 2.

The minimum temperature was recorded as: Peshawar 8,Parachinar -02, Kalama -08, Malamajabba -04, Chitral 3, Bannu 8, DIKhan 11 andBalakot 4.
