Cold and dry weather is likely to grip most parts of the country while rain with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places in next 24 hours

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jan, 2019 ) :Cold and dry weather is likely to grip most parts of the country while rain with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places in next 24 hours.

Rainfall is forecast in Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Makran, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during this time span.

A fresh westerly wave is likely to enter upper parts of the country on Saturday and likely to grip most parts of the country on Sunday, Met office reported.

In last 24 hours weather remained very cold and dry in most parts of the country.

However, rain occurred in Malakand division.

Minimum temperatures were recorded as Bagrote -13'C, Astore, Gupis -10'C, Kalam,S kardu -09'C, Hunza -07'C, Dir, Gilgit, Malamjabba -03'C, Chitral, Parachinar, Drosh,Rawalakot -02'C, Kakul -01'C,Islamabad 02C, Peshawar 05C and Lahore 02 C.
