ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2018 ) :Isolated rain-thundershower is expected at few places during next 24 hours, while mainly hot and dry weather to continue in most parts of the country.

Rain-thundershower is expected in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu division, Islamabad, FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan during this time duration.

Seasonal low lies over Northeast Balochistan. A shallow westerly wave is still affecting western parts and its adjoining areas, an official of met office told APP.

In last 24 hours rain-thundershower with gusty winds occurred at scattered places in Malakand, Lahore, Rawalpindi divisions and Kashmir whereas weather remained hot and dry elsewhere in the country.

Rainfall recorded during this time span remained; Kashmir: Rawalakot 44mm, Punjab: Okara 40mm, Murree 02mm, KP: Malamjabba 14mm, Dir 07mm, Parachinar, Pattan 03mm, Mirkhani 02mm, Drosh 01mm and Sindh: Sukrand 05mm.

Maximum temperature recorded during this time duration was: Sibbi 46'C, Turbat 45'C, Sh.Benazirabad, Dalbandin 43'C, Hyderabad 40'C, Peshawar 37'C, Multan 37'C, Quetta 36'C,Karachi 35'C, Muzaffarabad 35'C, Faisalabad 34'C, Gilgit 34'C, Islamabad 33'C, Chitral 33'C,Lahore 33'C and Murree 22'C.
