Mainly Dry Weather Expected Amid Light Rain-thunderstorm At Isolated Places

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2019 ) :Met office Saturday predicted mainly dry weather to prevail in most parts of the country, while hot in plain areas of Punjab and Sindh whereas light rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places.

According to the Met Office data, "A shallow westerly wave is likely to enter in upper parts of the country tonight and continental air will prevail in other parts of the country." However, light rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds was expected at isolated places in Malakand, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, Mardan, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir.

The weather forecast for Sunday also predicted rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds at isolated places in Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas with mainly dry weather in most parts of the country and hot in plain areas of Punjab and Sindh.

"Weather remained dry in most parts of the country whereas hot in Sindh. However, rain occurred at isolated places in Kohat division," said the past 24 hours forecast.

The rainfall (mm) recorded during last 24 hours included Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Parachinar 03 whereas the highest maximum temperatures recorded were in Jaccobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad 42C, Mithi, Sukkur, Rohri, Sukrand, Dadu & Moenjodaro 41C.
