New Spell Of Rains, Snowfall Hit Muzaffarabad

The capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Muzaffarabad and surrounding mountainous areas were hit by a new spell of heavy rains and snowfall forcing people to remain indoors
The townships of Muzaffarabad, Hattian, Kahori, Ghari Dopatta, Ghari, Habibullah, Bagh, Dheerkot, Rawalakot, Hajira and Plundari received heavy showers while hilly areas of Neelum, Muzaffarabad, Bagh and Rawalakot districts were seen draped in white snow.
A sudden dip in mercury was witnessed with the increase in intense weather condition in these areas. The weather also affected road transport and decreased business activities due to early closure of markets.
Met office has also predicted showers and snow in hilly areas of Pirchinasi, Ganja Taka, Sudhan Ghali, and Toli Pir.
