ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2019 ) :Weather expert on Tuesday said that the rain spell was expected in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi during the next 36 hours.

The rain spell will also be continued for the next two days in other parts of the country, said Director National Weather Forecasting Center Dr. Muhammad Hanif.

Talking to ptv, he said that rain fall is expected in Potohar region and Southern Punjab cities including Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad and Multan during the next 24 hours.

He said the unusual change in the weather conditions was due to the global warming as normally the April could not be pleasant as much as it was now.

He further said that ongoing rain spell would further affect Baluchistan. He termed the next 24 hours would be more critical for the province.

Torrential rains and flash flooding were expected during next 24 hours in Baluchistan. He asked the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) to adopt precautionary measures for the safety of masses in the concerned areas.

Responding to a question, he said this rain fall system would enter in upper areas of the Punjab during next 24 hours adding heavy rain fall and flash flooding are expected in FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) during the said duration.
