Rain-thunderstorm Expected In Most Parts, Fog Likely In Plain Areas 22 Jan 2019

Met office has forecast more scattered rain in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while at isolated places in Mardan, Peshawar, Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi divisions and Islamabad during next 24 hours with snowfall in hilly areas
Foggy conditions are also likely to grip plain areas of Punjab during morning hours during this time span.
Snowfall over hills is also expected in Malakand division (Swat, Chitral, Kalam, Malamjabba and upper Dir), Hazara division, Murree, Galliyat, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the period.
According to the synoptic situations a westerly wave is still affecting northern parts of the country and likely to weak from Wednesday.
In last 24 hours rain-thunderstorm (with snowfall over the hills) occurred at a number of places in the country.

Lowest temperatures recorded on Tuesday were Kalat -09C, Bagrote -06 C, Quetta, Gupis -05C, Skardu, Kalam -04 C, Murree, Malamjabba, Dalbandin -03C, Zhob, Hunza, Drosh, Rawalakot,Parachinar -02C, Nukkundi, Mirkhani , Astore, Chillas, and Panjgur -01C,Islamabad 08C, Peshawar08C and Lahore 09C.
