LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2019 ) :Scattered rains, accompanied by gusty winds, are expected in central Punjab, like in several other parts of the country, on Wednesday.

According to the Met office on Tuesday, a westerly wave is affecting southern and central parts of the country. Hailstorm is also expected at isolated places in Punjab, particularly in provincial capital.

Dust-thunderstorm and rain, accompanied by gusty winds, were experienced on Tuesday in almost entire country including Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Kashmir, which caused a significant decrease in temperatures.

Maximum and minimum temperatures in the provincial capital were recorded as 28 centigrade and 18 centigrade, respectively.

The Metrological Department has advised farmers to take precautionary measures in the wake of expected thunderstorm and rains.
