Stormy Winds, Rain Disrupt Power Supply In HESCO Region

The power supply in Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Samaro, Nabi Sar, Digri, Naukot, Pithoro, Tando Ghulam Ali, Mirwah and other areas was disrupted due to stormy winds and rain in different parts of Sindh province on Monday evening
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2024) The power supply in Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Samaro, Nabi Sar, Digri, Naukot, Pithoro, Tando Ghulam Ali, Mirwah and other areas was disrupted due to stormy winds and rain in different parts of Sindh province on Monday evening.
According to a HESCO spokesperson, power supply was disrupted in areas connected to 112 feeders in the HESCO region due to strong winds and rain.
The spokesperson clarified that electricity will be restored in these areas as soon as the rain stops.
