Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mudassir Riaz Malik Wednesday paid a visit to Dunyapur and Makhdoom Rasheed for assessment of damages caused by hailstorm and rains to crops and infrastructure
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2019 ) : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mudassir Riaz Malik Wednesday paid a visit to Dunyapur and Makhdoom Rasheed for assessment of damages caused by hailstorm and rains to crops and infrastructure.
DC met with the farmers and interviewed them as he witnessed the standing crops flattened and severely damaged by hailstorm and rain at Makhdoom Rasheed and Dunyapur.
He informed farmers that a complete damage assessment report would be sent to Punjab government adding that a special package was under consideration to provide relief to the farmers against their losses.
DC ordered officials to complete the report within two days.
He said process for rehabilitation of public infrastructure damaged on Dunyapur road would begin soon.
