Mexican peso down 6% on Trump vote showing

TOKYO, Nov 9, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Nov, 2016 ) - The Mexican peso plunged around 6 percent Wednesday as results in the US presidential election pointed to Donald Trump making a strong showing against Hillary Clinton.

The Currency, which has become a proxy for the property mogul's chances of taking the White House, was at 19.7240 to the US Dollar at around 0240 GMT.
