5 militants including IS leader killed in an airstrike

Mosul, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 5th September, 2016) : 5 militants have been killed along with a prominent leader of Islamic State group ISIS in a U.S.-led coalition airstrike near Mosul in Iraq.

The airstrike destroyed 4 ISIS positions near the newly freed town of Qayyara, some 50 km south of Mosul. The leader of IS was said to be close to the top IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi among the five killed.
