About 350 Security Officers Mobilized To Catch Strasbourg Shooter - Interior Minister

PARIS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 12th December, 2018) About 350 law enforcement officers are involved in the search for Strasbourg shooter, French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner said Wednesday.
"Currently, 350 people are mobilized to catch him," Castaner said at a press conference in Strasbourg.
He noted that they included 100 employees of the judicial police, as well as servicemen of Operation Sentinelle. Two helicopters are also involved in the search for the suspect.
According to the Interior Ministry, three people were killed as a result of the shooting near the Christmas fair in Strasbourg, another 12 were injured. The shooter is still at large. According to media reports, the suspect is a 29-year-old native of Strasbourg, who was previously convicted for an armed attack.
