PORT MORESBY (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th November, 2018) Participants of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which is currently held in Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea, have adopted a final declaration but did not include in it some controversial points, a source told Sputnik on Sunday.
Earlier in the day, Agence France-Press and Associated Press news agencies reported that no final declaration had been passed following the APEC summit for the first time ever.
The source said the declaration had indeed adopted the declaration but excluded some controversial points such as the Bogor Goals, the World Trade Organization (WTO) and trade practices, adding that these issues would be covered in the chairperson's address.
