Armenian Parliament Elects Ex-president As Prime Minister

The National Assembly of Armenia elected on Tuesday ruling Republican Party head and ex-President Serzh Sargsyan as the country's new Prime Minister.
YEREVAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2018 ) :The National Assembly of Armenia elected on Tuesday ruling Republican Party head and ex-President Serzh Sargsyan as the country's new Prime Minister. According to the parliament, 77 lawmakers voted for the candidate and 17 against, said a Xinhua news agency. Sargsyan has previously been president of the country for a decade.
