YEREVAN (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th January, 2019) Armenian former First Deputy Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan was elected Monday the speaker of the country's National Assembly of the seventh convocation, the head of the parliament's vote counting board, Vaagn Ovakimyan, said.

"A total of 131 deputies voted in favor of Mirzoyan's candidature," Ovakimyan announced at the parliament's session, adding that one vote out of the total 132 ballots was found invalid.
