At Least 18 Dead, 27 Injured In Blast Near Military Base In Central Afghanistan - Reports

The attack on the base of the Afghan security forces in the city of Maidan Shahr in Maidan Wardak province of central Afghanistan killed at least 18 people and injured 27 others, media reported Monday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st January, 2019) The attack on the base of the Afghan security forces in the city of Maidan Shahr in Maidan Wardak province of central Afghanistan killed at least 18 people and injured 27 others, media reported Monday.
Earlier in the day, the TOLOnews broadcaster said that the bomb went off at about 7 a.m. local time (02:30 GMT). The media said that there were casualties, but did not reveal precise numbers.
Xinhua reported citing sources that a car with explosives was detonated near the base killing at least 18 and injuring 27.
