At Least 3 Palestinians Killed In Clashes With Israel On Gaza Border - Health Ministry

RAMALLAH (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd December, 2018) At least three Palestinians were killed in clashes with Israeli soldiers erupted on the Gazan border, the Palestinian Health Ministry said in a statement on Friday.

Earlier reports suggested that a 16-year-old Palestinian was killed and another 40 people were injured.

One of those killed was a 28-year-old man who died from a gunshot wound to the stomach, the ministry said.

Egypt has renewed efforts to mediate the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Tensions escalated last week after a gunman killed two Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank, prompting sweeping raids by Israeli forces.
