At Least 35 Foreign Citizens Fell Victims Of Explosions In Sri Lanka - Reports

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st April, 2019) Thirty-five foreign citizens lost their lives in a series of blasts which occurred in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday, while the death toll from the explosions rose to 215, the news 1st broadcaster reported.
Previously, local media outlets reported that the number of victims from the blasts stood at 207.
Eight explosions took place in the island nation on the Easter day, hitting several churches with Catholic worshipers and hotels in the country's capital of Colombo and other cities. The Sri Lankan authorities had declared a curfew across the country following the attacks. Seven people were reportedly detained in connection to the explosions.
