At Least 7 Killed In Bus Accident In Russia's Kaluga Region - Emergencies Ministry

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 03rd February, 2019) At least seven people, including four children, were killed in an bus accident near Russia's Kaluga, a spokesperson for uniform duty dispatching service of the Yukhnovsky District of the Kaluga Region told Sputnik on Sunday.
The bus with children flopped over on Sunday morning near the city of Kaluga. According to the latest data of the Russian Emergencies Ministry (EMERCOM), 42 people were taken from inside the bus. The bus was carrying a group of children to perform in a philharmonic concert.
"A total of 33 casualties, including seven killed.
There are four children among those killed," the spokesperson said.
At least 25 persons, including 24 children, were injured in the accident, the regional EMERCOM said.
Another six persons are being examined on the scene, it added.
According to Smolensk Region administration's press service, a total of 47 people, including 31 children, were in the bus heading from the city of Yartsevo to Kaluga.
Smolensk Region Governor Alexey Ostrovsky has established an operational headquarters to assist victims and investigate the causes of the accident.
