Attempt to Grant Autocephaly to Ukraine's Church Attack on Orthodoxy - Metropolitan

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th September, 2018) The Ecumenical Patriarchate's attempt to grant autocephaly to the church in Ukraine represents a political attack against Orthodoxy, the First Hierarch of Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR) Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) told Sputnik.

"It is a political attack from the enemy of our salvation against unity of Orthodox people of the same origins - Russians, Ukrainians, Belorussians who have always been united in the church," Hilarion said on Monday.
