Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand, was cited as the most popular destination for next year, data provided by an online shopping mall showed Thursday.
Flight ticket sales for the January-June period showed Auckland as the top foreign travel location, TMON said.
The shopping platform said tickets sold for Yangon, Myanmar came in the second place, followed by Barcelona, San Francisco, and Chiang Mai.
TMON said its sales data showed a growing preference to visit places that offer natural beauty and relaxation, and a chance to escape from hustle and bustle of city life.
