China hopes that the ongoing summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Vladivostok will contribute to the Korean Peninsula settlement, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said Thursday

BEIJING (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 25th April, 2019) China hopes that the ongoing summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Vladivostok will contribute to the Korean Peninsula settlement, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said Thursday.

"China hopes that the meeting between the leaders of North Korea and Russia will be a new impetus for resolving the Korean Peninsula problem," Spokesman Geng Shuang said.
