MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th March, 2019) The blastoff of Boeing's Starliner spacecraft on an unmanned flight to the International Space Station (ISS) has been postponed from April to August due to problems during its ground tests, a source in Russia's rocket and space industry told Sputnik on Wednesday.

"The American side notified the Russian side that the launch of the Starliner unmanned spacecraft was postponed to August 17 due to problems that appeared during the spacecraft's ground tests," the source said.

He added that as a result, the blastoff of the Starliner to the ISS on a manned flight had been postponed from August to a later date.

Earlier, a source in the Russian industry told Sputnik the unmanned Starliner blastoff was scheduled for April 29.
