WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st March, 2019) US National Security Adviser John Bolton called on Venezuelan authorities on Thursday to immediately release opposition leader Juan Guaido's close associate Roberto Marrero.

"[Venezuelan President Nicolas] Maduro has made another big mistake.

The illegitimate arrest of Roberto Marrero, Interim President Juan Guaidó's aide, will not go unanswered," Bolton said via Twitter. "He should be released immediately and his safety guaranteed."
