Businessman Alexander Perepelichny in the UK could have been killed on Hermitage Capital founder William Browder's order, materials for launching a case have been sent to the Russian Investigative Committee, Nikolai Atmonyev, an adviser to Russia's prosecutor general, said at a briefing Monday.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th November, 2018) Businessman Alexander Perepelichny in the UK could have been killed on Hermitage Capital founder William Browder's order, materials for launching a case have been sent to the Russian Investigative Committee, Nikolai Atmonyev, an adviser to Russia's prosecutor general, said at a briefing Monday.
"If the death of Perepelichny was violent indeed, the most likely is the version that Perepelichny.
.. was killed in order to eliminate a participant in a regular provocation organized by Browder. In this connection, on November 14 the Russian Prosecutor General's Office sent to the Russian Investigative Committee a resolution to address the issue of initiating a criminal case on suspicion of Browder organizing the murder of Perepelichny," Atmonyev said.
Perepelichny, 44, died suddenly in 2012 during a morning jog near his mansion in Weybridge.
