KIEV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd April, 2019) Volodymyr Zelenskiy, who leads in the Ukrainian presidential race, will not be a "weak" head of state, a representative of Zelenskiy's campaign team, Dmitry Razumkov, said on Monday.
"We will not see a weak president. We will see a president who truly does not have the experience that many of our politicians can boast. He has no experience of creating corruption schemes.
He has no experience of developing political 'rigged games'," Razumkov said, as quoted by the UNIAN news agency.
On Sunday, Zelenskiy faced incumbent Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in a runoff after the first round of the election, which took place on March 31. According to the country's Central Election Commission. Zelenskiy is leading with 73.2 percent of the vote, with 85.78 percent of ballots counted. Poroshenko, who has secured 24.46 percent of the vote, has already admitted his defeat.
