Head of Russia's Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov said on Saturday that he had discussed bilateral cooperation issues with Bahraini prince Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Chechen leader pointed out that Al Khalifa had given a dinner in his honor.
"During the dinner we have exchanged opinions about the state and ways of development of economic, cultural and sports relations between Bahrain and the Chechen Republic. We pointed out that the parties have recently made a great step toward expansion of the mutually beneficial cooperation," Kadyrov wrote on his page in the VK social network.
The Chechen leader also thanked the prince for the high level of the reception.
In Bahrain, Kadyrov visited the Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS) 2018 at the invitation of the country's authorities. During the event, the Chechen leader participated in the inspection of a Russian plane together with the Bahraini king.
