"Russia is the country which plays the leading role in the international politics, and we had an opportunity to discuss important topics," Pinera said at a press conference.

Putin is paying a three-day state visit to Singapore, which is hosting the Russia-ASEAN meeting and the 13th East Asia Summit this week.
