Chinese Premier To Hold Talks With Dutch Prime Minister In Netherlands - Beijing

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will hold talks with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte during his official visit to the Netherlands, set to last through Tuesday, while he will also hold a meeting with the Dutch king and deliver a speech at a business forum, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 15th October, 2018) Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will hold talks with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte during his official visit to the Netherlands, set to last through Tuesday, while he will also hold a meeting with the Dutch king and deliver a speech at a business forum, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Li arrived in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam on Sunday. This is his first-ever official visit to the country.
"During his three-day stay, the premier will hold in-depth discussions with Mark Rutte, prime minister of the Netherlands, and meet with Dutch King Willem-Alexander. He is also set to visit a hi-tech exhibition and address a business forum in The Hague," the statement read.
Li and Rutte are expected to sign a number of documents on the Chinese-Dutch cooperation in aviation, energy and finance.
Li will also hold talks with the presidents of both chambers of the Dutch parliament. The agenda of Li's visit includes meetings with Dutch business leaders.
Li said that he expected the visit to promote mutual trust and enhance the Chinese-Dutch trade and investment cooperation. He emphasized the importance of the trade ties between the countries, recalling that the Netherlands was among the first western states to establish diplomatic relations with China.
After his visit to the Netherlands, Li is set to leave for Belgium, where he will attend the 12th Asia-Europe Meeting, scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
