Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said Tuesday at a press conference that he was sorry about the early departure of Turkey's delegation from the Palermo meeting on Libya.

PALERMO (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 13th November, 2018) Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said Tuesday at a press conference that he was sorry about the early departure of Turkey's delegation from the Palermo meeting on Libya.

Earlier in the day, Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay said that Turkey was leaving with "deep disappointment," citing the exclusion of Ankara's delegation from some talks at the conference.

"I was sorry that the Turkish Vice President and the Turkish delegation went away ... We must also acknowledge that there may be special sensitivities which may turn into a decision of this kind," Conte said at the press conference marking the end of the meeting.
