Current, Former CIS Leaders Congratulate Putin On 70th Birthday

ASHGABAD/YEREVAN/BISHKEK/CHISINAU (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 07th October, 2022) Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, as well as the former President of Moldova on Friday sent messages of good wishes to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished Putin health and happiness and the Russian people progress and prosperity, state-run newspaper Neytralny Turkmenistan reported.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a congratulatory message to Putin expressed hope for the continuation of a constructive dialogue and joint active work, according to a message released by the Armenian government.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov congratulated the Russian president by phone, the press service of the Kyrgyz leader told Sputnik.

Former Moldovan President Igor Dodon, in his congratulatory message to Putin, expressed confidence that both countries would return to the relations of strategic partners, according to a message released on Dodon's Telegram.
