Czech President Milos Zeman has been discharged from the Central Military Hospital (CMH) in Prague, where he had been under comprehensive medical examination since September 14, a hospital spokeswoman said on Wednesday
PRAGUE (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd September, 2021) Czech President Milos Zeman has been discharged from the Central Military Hospital (CMH) in Prague, where he had been under comprehensive medical examination since September 14, a hospital spokeswoman said on Wednesday.
"President of the Republic Milos Zeman was discharged from the Central Military Hospital in Prague on Wednesday, where he was being examined," Jitka Zinke said.
Zeman's spokesman, Jiri Ovcacek, confirmed to journalists that the president already has a working schedule on Wednesday.
He is scheduled to meet with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Alena Schillerova as well as the leaders of the Civic Democratic Party and the Freedom and Direct Democracy party in his countryside residence Lany.
Ovcacek said that the Czech president underwent computed tomography, sonography and blood sampling, and doctors found conditions that could be threatening his life.
For several months before hospitalization, Zeman used a wheelchair on most official duties due to a neuropathy affecting his legs.
