Detained Ukrainian Sailors Were Provided Access To Ukrainian Consuls - FSB

All 24 Ukrainian sailors who were detained for illegally crossing the Russian maritime border in the Azov Sea were provided access to consuls of the Ukrainian Embassy in Russia, Mikhail Shishov, the head of the investigations office of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), said on Saturday.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 08th December, 2018) All 24 Ukrainian sailors who were detained for illegally crossing the Russian maritime border in the Azov Sea were provided access to consuls of the Ukrainian Embassy in Russia, Mikhail Shishov, the head of the investigations office of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), said on Saturday.

"All of the accused were duly provided access to the consuls of the Ukrainian Embassy and, in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code, were appointed defense lawyers to provide them professional legal advice in the course of the trial," Shishov said at a briefing at Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency.
