Donbas Republics To Present Their Position At UNSC Meeting - LPR Foreign Ministry

LUHANSK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 02nd December, 2020) Representatives of the self-proclaimed Donbas republics will present their position at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) said in a statement.

Earlier, the LPR envoy to the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas, Vladislav Deinego, said the republics' representatives had asked Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group Heidi Grau to inform the UN Security Council of Kiev's intention to refuse to implement the resolution approving the Package of Measures of the Minsk agreements.

"The plenipotentiary representatives of the LPR and DPR (Donetsk People's Republic) will present the position of Donbas at the meeting of the UN Security Council on December 2, 2020," the LPR ministry said on Telegram.
