As many as 40 Palestinians were injured during clashes with Israeli soldiers in the northern West Bank village of Salfit, Palestine Red Crescent Society's spokeswoman Erab Fuqaha told Sputnik on Tuesday
"The Red Crescent staff provided the necessary assistance to 40 [Palestinians] injured in the clashes in the town of Salfit," Fuqaha said.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry in Ramallah, a Palestinian died in hospital after sustaining serious gun wounds in Salfit clashes.
The Palestinian Agency WAFA reported that the clashes between Salfit's local residents and Israeli troops erupted as the Israeli soldiers raided the village earlier on Tuesday to seize street camera recordings.
