Ecuador president confirms death of kidnapped journalists

Quito, Ecuador, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2018 ) :Ecuador's President Lenin Moreno confirmed Friday the deaths of three members of a journalist team kidnapped on March 26 by renegade Colombian rebels.

"Sadly, we have information confirming the murder of our fellow countrymen," Moreno told reporters in Quito, two hours after the expiry of a deadline he had given captors to prove the trio was still alive.
