Egypt Leader's Visit To Russia To Boost Bilateral Ties - Spokesman

CAIRO (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 16th October, 2018) The visit of Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Sisi to Russia is aimed at boosting bilateral relations between the two nations whose leaders share many views on global issues, his spokesman said.
"Today's visit by president Sisi to Russia is being held amid a strengthening bilateral relationship and bilateral consultations," Bassam Radi told reporters.
He described Russia and Egypt as strategic partners in many areas, while their presidents "have similar views on many political issues pertaining to bilateral, regional and international cooperation."
President Sisi came to Russia on Monday on an official visit. The Kremlin press service said Russian President Vladimir Putin would meet with his Egyptian counterpart in Sochi on Wednesday to discuss further cooperation.
