EgyptSat Launch Emergency Caused By Premature Shutdown Of Soyuz 3rd Stage Engine - Source

The emergency at the launch of EgyptSat-A satellite on the Soyuz 2.1b carrier was caused by the third stage's engine switching off untimely, a source in the Russian space industry told Sputnik Friday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd February, 2019) The emergency at the launch of EgyptSat-A satellite on the Soyuz 2.1b carrier was caused by the third stage's engine switching off untimely, a source in the Russian space industry told Sputnik Friday.
The satellite still reached the designated orbit after Fregat booster remedied the trajectory.
"According to the telemetric information, Soyuz-2.1b rocket system issued the command for an emergency shutdown of the third stage's engine.�Following this, Fregat booster with the satellite separated from the third stage," the source said.
