Eiffel Tower Unauthorized Climber Gave In To Rescuers - Reports

PARIS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st May, 2019) A man, who climbed the Eiffel Tower on Monday, has given in to rescuers after standing on the iconic structure for several hours, the BFMTV broadcaster reported.

Earlier in the day, the Eiffel Tower was evacuated over the unauthorized climber.

The security forces cordoned off the tower over the incident.

Police and rescuers arrived at the site and sent a negotiator to the man on the tower, who decided to give in after several hours of talks.

The man's motives remain unknown.
