Eleven People Killed, Almost 20 Injured In Bus Crash In India - Health Department

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 08th December, 2018) Eleven people were killed and another 19 injured as bus fell into a deep gorge in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, local health department reported on Saturday.
"Nineteen passengers were injured in the accident.
Five critically injured patients were referred to district hospital Poonch for specialised treatment," local medical officer Syed Mushtaq Hussain said, as quoted by the Greater Kashmir newspaper, adding that another 11 people were killed.
According to the publication, the incident happened in Poonch district around 9.15 a.m. (03.45 GMT). The bus was heading to towards Poonch from the village of Loran.
Other details of the incident are being investigated.
