MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 06th May, 2019) The emergency-rescue operation at the site of an accident involving Aeroflot's Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft have been finished, the press service of Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport, where the incident occurred, said on Sunday.

"The emergency rescue operation on site of an accident at Sheremetyevo Airport have been completed," the press service said in a statement.

The SSJ100, which was performing a flight from Moscow to Murmansk, had to make an emergency landing earlier in the day at the Sheremetyevo Airport due to the fire on board, which ultimately burnt down the aircraft. 13 people, including two children, were killed, according to the Russian Investigative Committee. �
